Doctoral Students

Research Assistants

If you are interested in particpating in TIES Lab as a volunteer research assistant, fill out our application form. We require a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5. We typically admit students who plan to attend graduate school. Research assistants should be able to devote at least 10 hours per week for a minimum of 2 consecutive semesters. Students interested in completing the an honors thesis should participate in the lab as an RA before beginning these projects. For questions, email tieslab@austin.utexas.edu.

We take applications on an ongoing basis but hire at the beginning of each semester.


Project Coordinators

The TIES Lab is recruiting a full-time, paid research associate. In our work, we use mobile sensing technology such as smartphones and wearable sensors to study child development and family and romantic relationships in everyday life. Since the position is full time, applicants will need to be graduating this Spring or have already graduated. Spanish-speakers and those with an interest in pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology are particularly encouraged to apply. If interested, please follow this link to our Workday application.
